I Yen Chen

The Path is a series painting using different medida and ways to creat the shape "S", implying to the image and idea of a path.

What is a path? How could a path be formed or created? The work starts from I-Yen's experience of finding herself and figuring out where she wanted to head for. The Path is also a work of I-Yen's statement of the freedom as an individual. There are thousands of ways of creating a path, each of them has the unique quality. We all have the strength of choosing the path we want to go. 

The work includes 24 sigle painting of the S shape. They all have different color and different texture. They share the same form, yet stand as an unique individual.
